Mystic River

Three childhood friends from a working-class Boston neighborhood find their lives dramatically altered years later when a tragic event shatters their community. As one of the men deals with the brutal murder of his eldest daughter, another friend, now a homicide detective, is assigned to lead the investigation. The case forces all three men to confront buried demons, long-standing secrets, and the dark bonds of their shared past.
